Seccoes was founded primarily to support a large consultancy task that arose during the MitID RFP period, specifically aimed at the large knowledge base of Ebbe Skak Larsen in this respect.
Ebbe, the founder and CEO of Seccoes, had worked heavily within Danish and Nordic Banking Sector Security solutions, e.g. Danish NemID, Norwegian and Swedish BankID, with strong influence on especially NemID. As MitID (upcoming NemID replacement) was approaching, he designed the entire conceptual security model for MitID and established this as the Danish Banking Sector approach, later adopted as the model for MitID within the Danish Agency for Digitisation.
Wanting to develop the design into a system, he moved to KMD as the most likely-to-win candidate on the market and worked to model up to a full bid, which unfortunately faltered at the very end due to an upcoming sale of KMD.

Today, Seccoes is able to deliver a broad range of security services, based on the insight and experience of Ebbe Skak Larsen. The general approach for all consultancy tasks is overview and insight into every security concept and project as needed, and a firm and well tested ability to pick up knowledge and cut to the chase fast, explain concepts, risks and consequences in clear language and deliver value by ensuring the proper priority of things to be done - money are not vasted on visible, but ineffective, means and necessary compromises are balanced well to support both budget and risk worries.
All consultancy is supported by a strong strategic, tactical and technical understanding and an ability to move effortlessly from helicopter-view to any level of detail. However, support for how-to e.g. configure any specific security component, or to obtain various certificates, etc., will be referred to whomever may support such details as a full-time lifecycle managed job. Seccoes can put into perspective, which certifications are needed and which products to select and use rationally.
